PUEAN Capital has announced its business direction for 2025, focusing on continuous growth with a target loan portfolio of 1 billion baht. The company plans to open a subsidiary in Samut Sakhon and additional service branches in the Bang Khae area, while managing loan quality to keep the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio below that of commercial banks. For the fiscal year 2024, the company reported total revenue of 154.53 million baht, with net profit increasing by 126.36%.

Mr. Wutthisilp Jaratsawaporn, CEO of PUEAN Capital Co., Ltd., a leader in provincial microfinance services in Thailand, stated that the company aims to continuously grow its revenue through provincial microloans and non-life insurance brokerage services, targeting a loan portfolio of 1 billion baht.

The company plans to open an additional subsidiary, PUEAN Quick Cash (Samut Sakhon) Co., Ltd., to provide provincial microloans in Samut Sakhon, currently in the process of obtaining a license. It is expected to start operations in the second quarter of 2025. Additionally, there are plans to open a branch in Bang Khae under PUEAN Quick Cash (Bangkok) Co., Ltd., bringing the total number of subsidiaries to 16 and increasing the number of service branches by 25, covering 16 provinces nationwide, including the Northeast, Central, East, Bangkok, and surrounding areas.

PUEAN operates as a non-financial institution, functioning as a holding company under the name PUEAN Quick Cash. It offers two types of services: Pico Finance Plus or provincial microloans regulated by the Ministry of Finance, and non-life insurance brokerage services licensed by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), with land title deeds as collateral, which are stable assets that appreciate in value. Currently, these assets account for 99.61% of the company's total assets.

The customer base for loan services can be divided into two main groups: those with regular income, such as government officials and company employees, making up 27.41%, and those without income verification, primarily business owners or freelancers like traders and farmers, constituting 72.59% of the company's main customer base.

"The company is committed to enhancing liquidity for the public amid a volatile economic environment. Our expansion plans aim to provide easier access to funding for the public. At the same time, we focus on effective loan quality management, currently maintaining an NPL ratio of 3.61%, which is lower than the average of 3.88% for residential loans in commercial banks. We believe that all operational plans will lead to achieving our growth targets," Mr. Wutthisilp stated.

In terms of performance for 2024, the company has shown continuous growth, with total revenue of 154.53 million baht, an increase from 108.73 million baht the previous year, representing a rise of 42.12%. The net profit reached 25.76 million baht, up from 11.38 million baht the previous year, an increase of 126.37%.
